Shanklin's esplanade sits directly across from Aqua Getaways - Duver Shores, putting you within easy reach of the beach, amusement arcades, chip shops and cafés that line the front. The clifftop path starts nearby, leading walkers east towards Culver Cliffs or west to Luccombe; you can also reach it by the historic Shanklin Lift. A mile back from the shore, Old Shanklin Village has thatched buildings and Shanklin Chine, a tree-lined gorge cut into the cliff face.

The apartment occupies the first floor of a modern building. A living and dining room with a smart TV opens onto a balcony facing the sea. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, letting you prepare meals or simply make drinks between outings. One bedroom holds a double bed (4ft 6in); the other has two singles (3ft). Both have wardrobes, drawers and TVs. The shower room is compact but complete. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included; gas central heating keeps things warm. The property is non-smoking.

Duver Shores sleeps four people and is yours alone for the stay. There is a public car park nearby, charged separately. The check-in time is after 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
