What guests say
We stayed here for a few nights this summer. The staff were polite and welcoming. The food was also excellent and catered to allergies well. I did not expect so many options with having a dairy allergy but I was wrong! I had the joy of having some vegan pancakes, waffles and vegan breakfasts. It was a real treat. I also enjoyed a vegan wellington one evening and again, it was a lovely meal. Service was quick too. We found the b&b and the surrounding area very peaceful. Whilst we did not have a sea view room, we were still able to lie in bed listening to the waves. I have marked the rooms as a 4/5 just because the rooms were similar to student accomodation. Whilst we had everything we needed, I think I still expected a little more. The price was excellent and I would recommend this B&B to anyone. With it's location along the seaside, it's beautiful nearby walks and activities and it's connection to the other areas of the island with a regular bus service, it is an excellent place to visit. Along the shore you are able to rent beach chairs, kayaks and paddle boards from the huts. Parking was on the street directly outside (pay and display/on an app) or in a car park a few buildings down.

Stopped in yesterday evening for food, they have a great menu and their food was delicious. The staff were both welcoming and friendly. Prices are a little more than next door but you pay for what you get. I can highly recommend the Toad in the hole!! We will be back… Thank you for taking the time to say hello to our puppy 🐶.

Popped in to the waterfront inn for some drinks and food. Really enjoyed the meal. Nice and hot and the staff couldn't do enough to make you comfortable and relaxed. Drinks are a good price. All the staff you could have a laugh with.

Great location on the Esplanade. Lots of outdoor seating in sunshine and shade. Cosy inside with good views through the window. Service was very friendly. Sadly the food lets it down. There's a good, varied menu but it's like the chef has never had decent food themself and therefore missed the target. Very 3* average. Portions are relatively small, presentation and execution could have been better. Think Wetherspoons but not quite that good. For the quality and portion size it was way overpriced. I doubt we will eat there again.

Diners like this restaurant's delicious food, including fresh fish and chips, pizza, and pasta, with many vegan and gluten-free options available. They also highlight the friendly and welcoming staff, as well as the reasonable prices.
Some reviews mention the service can be unprofessional.
