Captain’s Cottage

Sandown's seafront sits minutes from Captain's Cottage, where sandy beaches and amusement arcades line the promenade. The town centre brings shops, cafés and restaurants within easy reach on foot. A train station at the end of the road connects to other coastal towns, while the bus station opposite offers transport across the island and operates an open-top seasonal service for sightseeing. Robin Hill park, Shanklin Chine's wooded gorge, The Needles rock formations and Osborne House (Queen Victoria's former residence) are all within reasonable driving distance for day trips.

The cottage itself spreads across two floors with four bedrooms sleeping up to eight people. Downstairs holds a living room with smart TV, separate dining room, kitchen equipped for cooking and a games room. Upstairs, three further bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. One dog stays free. The back garden features a firepit, gas barbecue and mature trees creating an enclosed space. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included; heating is gas central. There is car parking on site, and a travel cot and highchair are available. No smoking inside.
