Lower Chine Apartment

Lower Chine Apartment occupies the second floor of The Adelaide, metres from Shanklin Beach. You enter into an open-plan living, kitchen and dining space that opens directly onto a private balcony—the sea is close enough that you can hear the waves from inside. The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite shower room; the second bedroom contains two single beds. There's a full bathroom as well. Essentials including heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are provided, and the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

The balcony is furnished and positioned to make the most of views across the beach and towards the sea. Inside, the living area has a TV with Freesat and a DVD player. Cots, highchairs and stairgates are available if needed. The building has lift access. On-road parking is available at a cost during peak season (2 March–30 October), and there's drop-off space by the door. No smoking throughout. The esplanade itself has attractions within walking distance, and the sandy beach is the main draw—ideal for families with children, or anyone wanting to be right on the seafront without the fuss of finding accommodation nearby.
