Napier Sands

Napier Sands is a first-floor apartment built right into Shanklin's seafront, positioned to take full advantage of its location on the Isle of Wight's south coast. The building sits between the golden beach and the esplanade, with the English Channel immediately below. Inside, the space is arranged as one open-plan living area on the ground floor, combining sitting room, dining space and kitchen in a single room that makes the most of natural light and the setting.

Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a double bed and another with bunk beds. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. The kitchen has an electric cooker, hob and microwave, so you can prepare meals or keep things simple with ready-made food. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included. The flat is yours alone for the duration of your stay, and one dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted.

Shanklin itself is a traditional seaside resort built around its long sandy beach. The promenade nearby has cafés, restaurants, amusements and ice cream shops, while a walk into the town reveals independent shops and tea rooms alongside Shanklin Old Village, known for its thatched cottages. Shanklin Chine, a wooded gorge with waterfalls, lies within easy reach for those wanting a quieter inland walk. The coast path from here extends east and west along the island's cliffs, offering uninterrupted views and access to other parts of the Isle of Wight.
