Lacock is a village in Wiltshire, built around a central crossroads lined with traditional stone cottages and period properties. The settlement grew up around Lacock Abbey, a 13th-century foundation that gives the place much of its architectural character. The streets remain largely unchanged from earlier centuries, with narrow pavements and buildings that date from medieval times onward.
