What diners say
This is a fantastic place to have drinks with friends on a sunny day. The outdoor seating is a perfect sunny spot to relax, and the excellent service makes the experience even better as the staff are attentive and welcoming. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh, making it a spot I highly recommend.

We stumbled across Boro Bistro after visiting Borough Market and it was a cute little find. There’s lots of seating outside, but since it was chilly we sat inside. The inside is pretty small with dim lighting, very cozy and relaxed. Our server was Italian and he was so sweet. We ordered the snails and they were actually pretty good. I got the beef bavette with pepper sauce and while the sauce was tasty, the meat was very chewy. The chicken schnitzel was okay too. The wine and the spicy margarita were both really good though. Overall, a nice spot to unwind after the market with good drinks and a cozy atmosphere.

Left here hungry. Tiny portions. Ordered three different mains each. Once we had ordered, there was a wait and each of the mains were coming out 20 minutes apart 🫣 Really let down but also me and my family find it hilarious that my Dad was served a tiny, single chunk of beef as his main (£1.00 coin for reference 🤣) 100% do not recommend Boro Bistro if you're hungry.

Really enjoyed my time at Boro Bistro. It's a French brasserie with excellent-quality products. I went with a friend, and we shared a charcuterie board. Honestly, the quality was amazing, especially for such an affordable price (£13), so I would definitely recommend it. We also had two glasses each of the Tonnerre, which I personally really enjoyed. We didn't go for the Chablis Premier Cru (I think the vintage was 2023), but at £72 a bottle, it seemed like very good value compared to what you would typically find in other restaurants in London. They also have a lovely terrace. It was very warm when we visited, and unfortunately we could only get a table inside. However, they seated us by an open window overlooking the terrace, which was perfect. The interior is very charming and cosy, creating an intimate atmosphere while still enjoying some fresh air from outside. Overall, I would highly recommend it 10/10!
