We stopped at Maria’s Café in Borough Market in London, and it was a great choice! The market is so inviting and nicely decorated. We ordered the traditional fish and chips, and our food came out very quickly. The meal included crispy fried fish, French fries, and green peas, which seems to be a classic combo in England (not my fav)! The fish was fresh, flaky, and cooked perfectly. It had a light, crispy batter. The portion size was huge, and the price was reasonable. The overall experience was excellent. If you’re visiting Borough Market and looking for a delicious, authentic fish and chips meal, Maria’s Café is the place to stop.

We arrived a bit before serving time at breakfast but they graciously accommodated us. I enjoyed an excellent smoked salmon and eggs dish. Thank you so much for your kind service.

We were looking for a place to have breakfast on a Sunday when most places were closed or didn't serve cooked breakfasts. We had a salmon and scrambled eggs on toast and a veggie brekkie. The food was good and portions were very generous. It's a bit pricey, I wasn't very happy to have to pay for sitting in but it's London/ Borough Market so I get it.

Great spot for a breakfast in the morning, reasonable pricing and quick service to keep your day going. Great staff too, happy to accommodate any switches for your meal, and conversation while your food is being cooked. Have been coming here a long while and hope to be back again in the future!
