About Arch hotel
The Arch hotel occupies a converted building on Pemberton Gardens, a quiet residential street in North London within reach of Hampstead Heath. Its 34 rooms include kitchenette facilities, en-suite bathrooms and accessible options, with drinks available in room and a garden to sit out in when the weather allows. Free WiFi and free on-site parking are included, and luggage storage is on hand for early arrivals or late departures.
Breakfast is served on site, while pubs, restaurants and other eateries are all within easy reach for evening meals. The atmosphere tends to be calm rather than lively, and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, which goes some way towards the hotel's reputation for good value. That said, some rooms have been reported as tired or not quite matching promotional photos, so it is worth setting expectations accordingly.
For visitors keen to explore North London, Hampstead Heath is close by, and the surrounding streets offer plenty of options for entertainment and dining. The Arch works well as a straightforward, well-located base rather than a destination in itself.

What guests say
A mid range but, clean and tidy hotel with very helpful, polite and friendly staff. Limited car parking on site( currently £20 day/night). Could do with a few updates in terms of maintenance and decor. Overall though, my partner and I have stayed twice as this suited our needs regarding a great and convenient location, including ease of access for nearest tube stations.

The Arch Hotel (Pemberton Gardens) boasts a beautiful historical exterior facade and situated walking distance to plenty of shops. It is quiet as it is tucked away among residential. The interior has gone through renovations and is modern. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room was serviced daily with fresh towels and linen. It is very clean. We also felt very safe as the front was always manned. If I have to fault one thing, it would be the hair dryer (my sister’s beef) as it shuts done very quickly.

We stayed at the hotel over the bank holiday weekend, family of 10, in three separate rooms. The hotel was in an amazing location, lovely and clean hotel, air conditioning and fan provided, car parking(chargeable) but very convenient for us. Can’t wait to come again! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The staff were rude and completely unfriendly from the moment we arrived, which immediately set a bad tone. To make matters worse, the key fob for the door literally broke as soon as we tapped it—so we were already dealing with issues before even getting into the room. The room itself was a complete catfish. It looks nothing like the pictures online—very misleading and disappointing. The walls are incredibly thin, and there is absolutely no soundproofing. You can hear everything, and I mean everything. People were being extremely inconsiderate, and we could even hear people having sex in the rooms above, which was beyond uncomfortable. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.
