About Martel Guest House

A included breakfast and drinks available in the room set the tone at Martel Guest House, a straightforward guest house on The Ridgeway in North West London, within reach of Hendon and Golders Green. It's an unassuming base rather than a destination in itself, but it covers the basics well for anyone passing through the city.

Rooms are simple and functional, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen television and free Wi-Fi. There's 24 hour reception for flexible arrivals, along with luggage storage for those with early check-ins or late departures. Free on-site parking is a genuine plus for anyone travelling by car in this part of London.

Beyond breakfast, guests can find a pub or bar, restaurants and other eateries nearby, along with a golf course and entertainment options within easy reach. It suits travellers who want a no-frills, well-located place to sleep and eat rather than a resort experience.

Quiet and peaceful location, very reasonably priced and the host was very responsive throughout. They cleaned the room daily, regardless of what time we headed out during the day, and on our last day, we were able to leave the car a little longer whilst we went and had a lovely breakfast on the High Street.

Perfect location for anyone staying in London, near bus/tube station and plenty of local amenities and restaurants nearby. Rooms are clean and well equipped. No handle for getting out of shower in room 4. Staff are very friendly and helpful, customer service is excellent. Stayed with my friend (both young women) and felt safe during our stay with locked main door and own keys for each room.

Location is great, the area is walkable and close to a tube station. The rooms are horrible When we arrived, it was clear there was visible black mold in bathroom and smelled bad. Informed manager they said “this isn’t mold”, but then offered to switch us rooms. We switched rooms, still black mold but much less. The bed was supposed to be a queen, to save money they decided to push two twins together and call it a day. Surfaces of room was dirty. Bed was hard and not at all comfortable Lights didn’t work

My wife & I stayed here on 12th June this yr. Very nice room, well lit, the bottles of water were a nice touch, so too a clean crisp bed & sheets, shampoo dispenser in shower a big tick & a great location to London. Price was very reasonable and on-line check in, a breeze. Shower was probably a little small but very usable, handle was a bit hard to open. Would come back in a heartbeat.
