NOX HOTELS - Golders Green

My stay at NOX was lovely!! The staff were really nice, polite and helpful whenever I spoke to them. The room AC was extremely welcome in the unprecedented heatwave, and I was delighted that it came through vents that cooled the entire room, rather than just a humming, ineffective box fitted to the wall as in most other hotels. I couldn’t hear a single noise from the street outside, even though we were on the first floor in a busy town with plenty of traffic and a school across the road. The room came with a kettle, a toaster, a hob and a small fridge-freezer, which was very helpful to keep snacks and drinks, especially as there is a Tesco right next door and a big kosher store further down the road. There was even a coffee machine in the kitchenette, which I didn’t end up using as I’d packed my Aeropress, but handy to know. The shower/bathroom was very clean, and the water pressure was perfect. The hotel provided towels, shampoo and shower gel as well as a hairdryer in the cupboard. I had a great night’s sleep thanks to the cool, quiet room and the comfy bed, and I was pleased that the bedding was hypoallergenic, as I am sensitive to allergens and often find myself sneezing at night. My only small gripe is that there was nowhere to sit except on the bed, but the information sheet said tables/chairs could be provided on request. Ultimately it wasn’t important enough for me to go and ask for one and my stay was fine without it. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the tube is a less than 10min walk. Golders Green is a comparatively peaceful and calm part of London, but with plenty of amenities, shops, and good access to the rest of the city. I will definitely be coming back to NOX Golders Green the next time I come to London!

Great location, bus stop just across the road, 3 minutes to get to Sheppard Bush underground station, Westfield shopping centre etc. opposite direction same- Olympia, Kensington. All kind of lines, buses can take you anywhere. Despite lively area, you don't get any noice- double glazed windows. Nice, clean, cosy rooms. I stayed there all February, loved it, definitely worth to consider. Special thank you to Gesha - brillian serviss, which makes you feel like home, looked after, cared for. Great value for money, with fantastic amenities and location on the high street. Check in was simple and easy with 24/7 reception. Clean room (except for one window frame which needs addressing) and friendly staff. Had issues with the TV signal and heating/Aircon in the room but this didn't affect our stay and we were happy using the window when needed. Kitchenette was a highlight, though I recommend bringing a tea towel, and more cutlery if you intend on cooking meals. What was included in the kitchen: Washing up liquid and sponges Two sets of cutlery, plates, cups and mugs(2 guests) Toaster, microwave, two ring hob, small fridge with mini freezer, a cooking pot and frying pan

Stayed at NOX on a business trip from the States around mid January. Room size was a bit on the smaller size, but, hey, it's London at the end of the day. Cleaners did a fantastic job, especially the younger lady in glasses, she should smile more! Location was perfect, Northern Line gets you Central very quickly. Golders Green is also very quiet, very diverse, plenty of halal and kosher options. As a Jew myself, it felt very comfortable. Especially the local bakery. Lots of shops around and they close quite late in case you need something. Reception staff, especially Giulia and Alex were amazing - loved to see Elvis Presley getting some love! Very friendly, and well-spoken. 24/7 reception, so there's always someone there. Will be back!
