About King Solomon Hotel
The King Solomon Hotel occupies a substantial building along Golders Green Road, with 90 rooms spread across the property. It's a straightforward, no-frills base in North London, aimed at travellers who want convenience over polish, with family rooms and accessible rooms among the options and free on-site parking for those arriving by car.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in-room, and free WiFi throughout, though some accommodation shows signs of wear and could do with a refresh. On-site facilities include a bar, luggage storage, and a concierge desk to help with local queries. Staff are consistently described as helpful, which goes some way to offsetting the property's tired edges.
The location is a genuine strength, sitting close to public transport links that make getting into central London straightforward. Nearby, guests will find pubs, restaurants and eateries, plus entertainment options and a golf course within reach for those wanting to venture further afield. It works well as a practical, value-focused stop rather than a destination in itself.

I completed my stay here; it was an average experience. The best part is there's a bus stop just below the hotel, so that's a plus point. Also, nearby there are many fast food corners and eateries, which was good. About the hotel: if you're carrying even a mid-sized travel bag, it's hard to walk upstairs. As I was on the 2nd floor, I'd recommend trying for lower floors. I had some issues with the bathroom as the water drained quite slowly. During summer when I stayed, it was quite warm inside, and opening the window didn't help as the drainage outlet pipe, I suppose, was stinking. Overall, it was a good stay in terms of connectivity with TFL services (buses, tubes). Would recommend for a short and quick trip

We have just had a 2 night stay here, the staff were welcoming, the place smelt nice and clean. Our room was decent, it was ideal for us as we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. We didn’t have any issues that were worth raising to the staff. The room itself could’ve been cleaner, for example the shower door seal was yellow, the fan in bathroom didn’t work so the ceiling was starting to grow black mould, the drain in the shower was built up with hair and yellowing. It was a warm couple of days there so we had the windows open, they were also covered in black mould around the seals and quite dirty. We were lucky enough to have a desk fan in our room, however when we first turned it on a ton of dust blew at us and we were covered in dust just from touching it. The skirting boards looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a while, they were dusty and had some form of liquid stuck to them. I think if the rooms had a deep clean more regularly then it would be perfect. I’ll add pictures of the things I have raised. Overall a decent stay, would stay again if we were in the area.

super helpful staff! I had mucked up my booking and accidentally ended up with more than one for the span of my trip (🫣) and the guy at check-in was great about it, I had to change my room part way through as expected since it was 2 different types of rooms I booked. the rooms I stayed in were clean and tidy, and worked well since we were pretty much just sleeping there at night. The breakfast selection wasn’t huge, but for £9.99 per person you could definitely get your moneys worth. The hotel is close to the station which was great, would definitely stay here again!

Had a nice peaceful stay here, hotel is very quiet and staff really friendly. Stayed here over a year ago, thought the cleanliness here was ok. However this time found slugs in the bathroom of a night this was room 426. The shower is green, small cushions and the end sheet was very stained/dirty and these are put on top of clean sheets that didn’t look 100% clean with black hair in the bed. Shower took 25 mins to heat up and then you couldn’t alter the heat so it was scalding hot
