About Point A Hotel London Kings Cross St Pancras

Step into a room at Point A Hotel London Kings Cross St Pancras and you'll find a compact but well-kept space, with a comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi. The rooms lean towards the snug side, and walls aren't the thickest if neighbours are noisy, but the finish is clean and modern throughout, which keeps the overall standard feeling well above what's charged for it.

Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for food and drinks, plus breakfast available each morning and a snack bar for anything in between. A garden offers a bit of outdoor space, and practical extras such as luggage storage, laundry service, meeting rooms and concierge support make it a straightforward base whether travelling for work or leisure. Free on-site parking is available, which is a useful bonus for a central London hotel.

The location, close to King's Cross and St Pancras stations, makes onward travel easy, and there are pubs, restaurants and other eateries nearby for evenings out. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch to what is otherwise a no-frills, well-priced stay.

Booked as a last minute option to get the Eurostar at the crack of dawn the following day. I had never heard of the hotel, but the location was good and the price was right. I am so glad that I went with my gut as the hotel was lovely! Staff were friendly and helpful on checkin. The lobby/lounge/bar area looked really nice - clean, well setout and clearly used by a lot of guests. Once checked in, the staff showed me where to find the lift and I headed off to the basement. Not sure what to expect but was impressed. While underground, the corridor was well lit and easily navigated. The technology for the rooms is very good and I really loved the idea of the changing lights and how to set your door to DND digitally! Really takes away more waste that is created through the hangers. Bed was super comfy, good spec bathroom and so quiet. I couldnt hear any other guests or traffic or really anything - impressive considering it was a 5 minute walk from Kings Cross Station. Checkout was super easy and I was thanked and wished well as I left. This hotel will be added to the list of regulars to use in London again.

Cool and quiet. It is very hard to find a hotel with proper AC in London, and hard to find a quiet hotel anywhere. I stayed in room 502 and I had a very nice night sleep. It had a real mini split AC capable of getting the room down below 70F. I am a very light sleeper and I only woke up a couple of times- every time just due to other doors slamming in the hallways. But I did not hear any noise from the wall or ceiling. On top of these, the bed was comfortable, the staff was great, and the price was very reasonable.

I can’t recommend this hotel at all. Besides that it’s in a good, walkable location. Rooms are tiny, which would be fine, but the bed was rough. Could digging into you it’s hard to get sleep and the pillows were flimsy and beaten up. There was air conditioning which was a shocker. The bathrooms are tiny, there’s slim space between the sink and the wall and the shower is small. No hand towels or cloths, just large towels. The elevators are also very tiny so really 1-2 people at a time. And in the dungeon if you get the -1 floor, there’s a huge curtain that looks like there’s window but there’s just wall and a tiny strip of window at the top. It was giving jail cell. Also you could hear everything through the walls as if they were in the room with you. Only book here if you’re not concerned about bed comfort, and bring your own toiletries/towels.

A small but functional room, especially just for one person. It was comfortable with nice lighting and air conditioning. The breakfast was convenient and easy, and the lounge worked as place to rest in the evening as well. The bathroom door has a small gap along the edges (between the wall and door) and has no lock so this might be awkward if more than one person is staying.
