About The Premier Notting Hill

Portobello Road Market and Notting Hill Gate station are both within easy reach of The Premier Notting Hill, making this a practical base for exploring the area's antique stalls, cafes and street life. Nearby pubs, restaurants and other eateries mean there's plenty of choice for evenings out without needing to travel far.

The hotel itself has 68 rooms, and while these come with air conditioning and free WiFi, some are on the compact side and can pick up noise from the street or corridors. What guests consistently rate highly is the breakfast, generous and well-prepared, along with the standard of housekeeping and the helpfulness of the staff. Facilities extend well beyond the rooms, with a restaurant and bar on site, a gym, spa and sauna, an indoor swimming pool, and a garden for quieter moments.

Free on-site parking is a genuine plus in this part of London, and concierge and porter services take care of the practical side of a stay. It suits guests who want to be near the action in Notting Hill without paying for premium space, provided a smaller room isn't a dealbreaker.

The location if the hotel is nice next to the Hyde park the staff was welcoming. I would not stay there the second time though. The rooms are tiny that's not a big deal for me however they are very poorly ventilated. I stayed in 116 while there was a tiny window in the room it was unusable as outside there is a shaft with Aircons, generators or other loud machinery. It was hot and damp in the room - there is an ac but without proper ventilation it's just mixing the air inside if the room. I ended up cracking my door open as there was a proper window in the corridor. It is a noisy hotel you can hear everything going on outside your room. Somebody entering the next room feels like he's opening your door and you just open your eyes to check :D. Bathroom on the small side but alright. It was fairly clean. The breakfast was ok. The ventilation is the biggest issue. Thankfully it was only 1 night for me :).

Excellent location in a very nice part of London. Queensway is a 5 min walk away, Notting Hill 10 mins and Portobello Rd and market 20 mins walk. Great transport links and loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Hyde park and other major London attractions are all within short bus or tube ride away. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is very well maintained and comfortable. Our room was immaculate and had everything we needed, cleaned daily and quiet. This hotel and location is a great base for the capital. We will be coming back on our next trip to London

It’s genuinely sad to read some of the ridiculous negative reviews about this lovely hotel. If you want a huge room, then book a hotel that offers huge rooms. If you want to be right next to the Underground, choose a hotel that’s on top of a station. Complaining about a homeless person nearby is completely unfair, and moaning about a local cultural festival is just baffling. My heart really goes out to the owners, as I run my own holiday business and sadly know how difficult some guests can be. This was our second stay, and once again we had a truly wonderful experience. Our room was very spacious and beautifully equipped with dressing gowns and slippers. The room was made up every single day, and we were even welcomed with roses on the bed for our wedding anniversary, such a thoughtful touch. There was also a tea and coffee tray, which was much appreciated. The heating was just perfect, no skimping on the heating like some hotels that make you cold. The staff are absolutely lovely, incredibly responsive, and genuinely welcoming. I honestly cannot see what there is to fault here unless you are actively looking for something to complain about. The location is excellent. The Tube is literally a six-minute walk away, with fantastic pubs, restaurants, and shops all around Notting Hill, and super easy access to the rest of London. If you don’t have the budget for Claridge’s, this hotel is excellent value for money. We wish the owners every success and are very much looking forward to returning later this year for our third visit.
