About Vancouver Studios
Hyde Park is within easy walking distance of Vancouver Studios, and Paddington Station makes onward travel by rail or Underground straightforward, putting much of central London's shopping, dining and sightseeing within easy reach. The surrounding streets of Bayswater offer plenty of restaurants, pubs and eateries for evenings out without needing to travel far.
Rooms are self-contained studios with kitchenettes, giving guests the option to cater for themselves alongside the on-site restaurant and bar. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are kept clean and well-maintained, with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning throughout. A lift serves most of the building, though some reports mention it isn't available everywhere, so those with mobility concerns may want to check when booking.
Beyond the rooms, facilities include a gym, spa and sauna, a garden, laundry service and free on-site parking, along with concierge support and luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the combination of location and facilities makes this a practical base for visiting London.
What guests say
The first thing you see are the kindest and politest people at the reception. I can't recall their names but we left with the best impression and we definitely recommend to stay there! When it comes to the room itself it was clean, fresh AND had some kind of extra fan ventilation as well as a ceiling one. The bed is big but on the firm side for me personally but for sure was not a problem. We also did our laundry which was very convenient! The breakfast was simple and tasty and I'd suggest to start your day in the beautiful garden. It was very peaceful and refreshing! Honourable mention to all the beautiful pieces that decorate the interior, it felt like a small museum 💜 Thank you for having us

I really liked this hotel and would stay here again, however I think there are a few things that could improve the guest experience. Positives first: -The staff were wonderful, very warm and were helpful with anything we asked. -The location is amazing, close to Paddington as well as two tube stations, an easy jumping off point for travelling throughout London. -The rooms and common areas were very clean. -The neighbourhood was super quiet, very peaceful for sleeping!! Suggested improvements: -There were no facecloths/washcloths in the room and the front desk was unable to provide any. This is a very simple and cheap addition to the room that would go a long way. -No Kleenex/tissues in the room, and though the toilet paper was very nice quality, I hate using heavier tp to blow my nose with! Minor, but again, a simple fix. -There was a combo shampoo/body wash in the shower but no conditioner. Bring your own if you have hair that needs it!! -Our passports got locked in the safe and staff had to fiddle with the safe for about half an hour before they were able to successfully unlock. I've never had trouble with a hotel safe in my life but these safes seemed to give us and the staff some trouble. I also heard another guest asking about the safe and instructions so I got the vibe others might have had difficulty as well. We did not want our belongings to get locked inside again so we ended up carrying our passports around with us all week. -My biggest complaint, the pillows were atrocious. They were very hard and very lumpy. I had a tough time sleeping all week because of the pillows. My travel partner said the same. I would simply suggest updating the pillows. As with many hotels in Europe, the rooms were very small. That said, we did stay in the smallest room category, so it was understandable, but there was a lack of storage space so come prepared for that. We both had large suitcases and there was really no good place to put them. Aside from a few hangers in the closet there wasn't much space to store clothes. Despite these minor shortcomings, I believe the price was very reasonable for central London, the location was perfect, and the staff were lovely. It's a very cute hotel! I would definitely stay here again but I might splurge for a slightly bigger room next time! :)

This is the second time I have had the opportunity of staying in this hotel and, as expected, I had a great experience. It is located in a very good area, and there are many shops and restaurants near the hotel, so that is something I really liked since my first stay. The hotel itself is lovely, from the outside and inside. It has charm, the way it is decorated made me want to explore the place. Not to mention, the staff is very helpful and so nice; a greeting and goodbye every time I arrived and left the hotel, it made me feel most welcome. The only small downside would be no lift to get to the upper rooms, though as mentioned before, the staff was more than willing to help out with my luggage up or down the staircase. Honestly, I felt rather cozy during my stay. The distribution in my room was very well-thought that it covered just about everything I could possibly need; a bed, stove, fridge, closet, safe box, bathroom and shower, etc. It was very well equipped so I can say I did have everything necessary to make the room comfortable. Thank you for the great service, I leave London quite happy with this experience, and hopefully I’ll come back in the future every time!

Very happy with our weekend stay here. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with plenty of seating available, if it hadn't rained so much, we would have taken advantage of the balcony seating. The room was clean (although the floor could have done with a more thorough sweep) and the bed was incredible - comfy mattress and the bedding was crips and clean). The shower room is snug but manageable and the shower is decent. They provide shower gel/shampoo and body lotion which (forget the brand but it was a really lovely - Norwegian I think). 2 things to note - there is no lift so be prepared to haul your bags up stairs - we were 1st floor so it wasn't really an issue. Secondly, it's an old building so the room-room noise insulation isn't great. You will be woken up multiple times by people slamming their doors and you can hear muted conversations which isn't ideal if people decide to stay up late. It is what is it and the staff can't do anything about this. The location is superb - Queensway and Bayswater are a short walkable distance (less than 10 mins) and there is plenty of choice of coffee shops and eateries on the main drag. I would definitely stay here again.
