About Whiteleaf Hotel
Whiteleaf Hotel suits visitors after a straightforward, affordable base rather than a destination in itself. Sitting close to London Paddington, it works well for train travellers, one-night stopovers, or anyone wanting easy access into central London without paying central London prices.
Rooms are simple, with breakfast included to get the day started and free WiFi throughout for staying connected. Luggage storage and concierge services are on hand, useful for guests arriving early or leaving late, and free on-site parking is a genuine plus for those driving into the city, where parking is often scarce and expensive.
Pubs, bars and restaurants are all nearby, so evening options are close at hand without needing to venture far, and Windsor Great Park offers a point of interest for guests wanting a break from the city. It's a practical choice for travellers prioritising location and value over polish.

My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible, and I would not recommend it to anyone. When I arrived, I was given a room that was dirty, extremely hot, and clearly had not been cleaned properly. There was a wet towel left inside, an opened spray product on the countertop, the bathroom was dirty, the beds were dirty, and the whole room was in a completely unacceptable condition. It was disgusting and not what any guest should receive after paying for a hotel stay. Because of this, I asked to be moved to another room. While I was in the first room, I plugged in my phone charger and adapter. When I changed rooms, I accidentally left them there. Around 20 or 30 minutes later, I told the woman at reception immediately. She told me she would inform the cleaning staff so they could return them to me the next day. However, the next day they claimed that nothing was there. This is completely false. I am 100% sure that my charger and adapter were left in that room. They were stolen from the room, and the hotel refused to take responsibility for it. They did not solve the problem, they did not compensate me, and they simply ignored the situation. On top of that, the room we were moved to also had no air conditioning. During a heatwave, this made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The only thing provided to cool down the room was two fans, which was nowhere near enough. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had: dirty rooms, unbearable heat, no proper air conditioning, my belongings were stolen, and the staff refused to take responsibility. I would never stay here again, and I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Great hotel in Kensington. Lovely room - single. Loved my room, single bed, TV and wardrobe space on the right as you enter, walk up a short flight of stairs to kitchen area and en-suite bathroom. AC. 20-25 minute walk from Marble Arch along Bayswater Road.

Room smells because of the water/drainage/of the toilet. Toilet is a hotbox also. Shower doesn't give hot water. Charged £30 extra to check in a little bit earlier to a room which was already completely ready, no explanation why. Wouldn't answer the phone when calling and when I eventually got through they couldn't get me off the line quick enough. Location is great and the place is generally quite clean, but the room smells and bad shower coupled by lack of nice customer service just makes it not worth it

The location is good. First impression of room is tidy, new, clean, but very (extremely small). Reception staffs were nice and helpful. We are staying 9 nights here. From standard policy, we were informed that the cleaning service is arranged every 3 nights. However, on our 4th night, there was nothing, even the trash was left undone. We have requested through booking.com message to get the service and was promised the service. However, on the 5th night, the hotel missed to deliver what was promised. We went down to the reception and communicate through booking.com again, requesting the cleaning service. When we were back on our 6th night (the timeline that we are actually writing this review), the room was cleaned, trash was taken, but bed sheets were not changed...the bed was not even made as well as bathroom and kitchen area. Super disappointed with the cleaning service. Updated on the 8th night, the bed sheet has not been changed. Another remark, the fridge was off when you leave the room since the entire electricity of the room is connected to key card slot. So, basically, you cannot leave food in the fridge.
