I recently visited Hive Leisure Centre and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and friendly, making me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. The staff were exceptionally helpful, approachable, and eager to assist with any questions I had. A special mention goes to Raj, the manager, who was incredibly patient and supportive throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and ensured I understood each step without ever making me feel rushed. It is refreshing to encounter such excellent customer service, where staff genuinely care about helping people and creating a positive experience. Raj’s professionalism, patience, and dedication are a real credit to the centre. I would highly recommend Hive Leisure Centre to anyone looking for a welcoming environment with outstanding customer service and staff who go the extra mile to help. I visited this morning, 10th of July, for swimming lessons with my toddler. The changing rooms were completely filthy, especially the changing cubicles with the baby stations and nappy bins. The nappy bins pedals don’t work, and you need to use your hands to lift the lids. There was rubbish on the floor, the floor was dirty, and the smell of urine was unbelievable. The toilet was very dirty, so was the toilet near the reception. This is not the first time at all, sadly.

Been using this gym for the past 3 years. Now decided to swap to a different gym further away from me. Internet is shocking. Sometimes I can’t listen to my music throughout my workout due to the poor WiFi and no signal. After hearing the amount of personal trainers and members complaining about the WiFi for 18 months, the staff aren’t interested. It’s incredibly overcrowded in the gym. Half the time you’re waiting for machines to come free in the evenings. Staff are aware of both of these issues but I suppose this is what you get with a corporate gym. Careless about the members. Finally, they put the prices of the memberships up every year. Nearly £50 a month! Clearly the money isn’t going on the above. Disappointed because it used to be a good gym!
