About PREMIER SUITES Newcastle

Newcastle city centre is right on the doorstep at PREMIER SUITES Newcastle, with the shops, bars and cultural spots of Thornton Street and beyond all within easy walking distance, making this a practical base for exploring the city on foot rather than relying on taxis or public transport.

The property has 31 apartments that guests consistently describe as spacious, immaculate and well-furnished, giving visitors the space and setup needed for a comfortable stay whether that's a short city break or a longer visit. Breakfast is available, along with free WiFi and luggage storage, and the on-site car parking is a genuine plus in a city centre location where parking can otherwise be a hassle. Staff are regularly praised for being helpful, friendly and professional, adding a personal touch to what is otherwise a self-catering style stay.

Value for money is another consistent theme, making these apartments a sensible choice for anyone wanting more room than a standard hotel without paying over the odds. With the city centre on the doorstep, it suits both leisure visitors keen to explore Newcastle upon Tyne and those in town for work who want somewhere comfortable to return to at the end of the day.

We ( the missus and me ) had always promised ourselves a trip to Newcastle as we ‘ d always only driven through it on our way elsewhere. We were very pleasantly surprised. The first thing is Premier Suites accommodation - it was very very good & was like having your own home but in centre of Newcastle. You’d everything you wanted within walking distance. Amazing history ( we’ve a bit of a thing for Cathedrals & Castles ) convenient shopping for every pocket & eateries beyond belief. We particularly liked Grainger Town the Georgian architecture the shops and markets too. Inevitably we’d end up in this area most days. It seemed sort of “ cool “ & all the World and their dogs were there! Our location also meant we’d great access to the very good Metro system too. Local and suburban and also coastal. 10 out of 10 for comfort accessibility and sites and places to eat. St James Park was a high point as you sense the fervour of the Toon Army ( Ultras ).

Second stay here this past weekend, and as always David on reception was amazing. Very accommodating, carried our bags to our room, told us the best places to go for food and drinks and lent us an umbrella to brave the rain. He is an absolute asset to the company. Our apartment was incredibly clean, and I like to check the nooks and crannies to make sure, and they are so well furnished you could live in one permanently. The car park is a lovely extra touch and makes visiting Newcastle much easier. The only down side was the noise from the place downstairs (not this hotel), early in the morning, it didn't bother us as we were up anyway, but anyone wanting a Sunday lie in would have been disturbed by what sounded a bit like a 8am rave.

The rooms are really good value and have everything you need. However the stand out for me was the customer service which was excellent. All the staff were polite, professional and helpful and it made a real pleasure to stay there. A thank you to all of the team and i would definitely recommend a stay!

Stayed here last weekend in a 2 bedrooms apartment with friends. The location is excellent you can easily walk to the Quayside or into the main shopping areas. We were a few minutes walk away from St James Park and Chinatown. The apartment itself was like home from home, there is everything you need. The apartment was very clean, warm and comfortable. Good WIFI and car parking under the apartments. The staff on reception were so helpful and friendly, they even found us a brolly for venturing out in the rain. Thank you Premier Suites Newcastle for a fabulous stay, we will definitely return.
