Burnside Cottage

Burnside Cottage sits in open countryside between field and woodland, with a stream running nearby. The setting suits anyone wanting quiet—Arran Park is within driving distance, and the village of Blackwaterfoot, with its beach, golf club, grocery shop and hotel, lies 6 miles away. You have the whole place to yourself, with parking for two cars on site.

The layout is three bedrooms and one bathroom across two floors. Downstairs: a double bedroom, a combined living and dining room, kitchen, and shower room. Upstairs: another double and a twin bedroom, accessed by a narrow steep staircase. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, there's an enclosed garden with patio and furniture, set within further lawn. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

The cottage works for families with up to six people, though the owners suggest it's most comfortable for four adults. One dog is welcome. This is not a place for reliable television or internet during poor weather, given how isolated it is. No smoking throughout.
