Ilfracombe's working harbour, independent shops and clifftop walks sit on your doorstep here. Bath House is a Grade II listed townhouse with five bedrooms across two floors, spread across enough space for ten people to move around without feeling cramped. The ground floor holds two separate sitting rooms (one has a Smart TV), a dining room and a kitchen with an Aga, where you can actually cook rather than just reheat. Three bathrooms are dotted through the property—two with baths, one a shower room. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included in the price.

The five bedrooms comprise four doubles and one twin. Outside there's a back garden with a barbecue and somewhere to sit, plus on-road parking. Tunnels Beach, where you can swim or just watch the sunset, is a one-minute walk away. The town itself has a working harbour full of boats, galleries, restaurants and cafes; Damien Hirst's bronze veiled skull overlooks the seafront. The coast here is North Devon's main draw—golden cliffs, rock pools, and a string of beaches within easy reach by car. Smoking isn't permitted inside, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.
