Flint Lodge is a converted farm building on a working smallholding near Flint in North Norfolk, sleeping five across three bedrooms. You have the whole property to yourself. Downstairs, an open-plan living area contains a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a dining space and lounge with Freeview TV. There is also a shower room. Upstairs are two further bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath. One bedroom has zip-and-link beds (two single 3ft beds that can be joined) and a sofa bed; the other has two single 3ft beds. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
The property sits within four acres of grounds shared with other on-site buildings. You get a sitting-out area with garden furniture, private parking for two cars, and two lockable kennels for your pet (one dog or cat welcome, stay free). Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all provided. The location suits both a quiet retreat and a touring base: the North Norfolk coast is six miles away, with beaches at Weybourne, Cromer and Sheringham within easy reach, while the Broads are under twenty miles off. Nearby attractions include Blakeney Quay, BeWilderwood, the North Norfolk Heritage Railway, Blickling Estate, Holkham, Sheringham Park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve. No smoking inside the property.

What guests say
Not decorated for Xmas as expected, no logs for burner (both on cottages.com), bedrooms good but the rest of the house was in need of updating, especially the downstairs. Heating not on upstairs on arrival (24 Dec 2025) and took several hours to warm up. Shouldn’t this have been checked before we arrived? Communication via WiFi, very poor/intermittent between cottages.com, and owners particularly unhelpful. Sofas had crumbs, old fruit and dust underneath, also reported by the next visitors on cottages.com website. Offered a £50 voucher towards my next holiday with cottages.com. Don’t think I’ll be using that.

Great home away from home. Very spacious rooms with two bathrooms and a field next door with animals which the kids love.

Warm, spacious, clean and comfortable cottage in great surroundings. Perfect for a get away from it all break but close enough to enjoy the best of North Norfolk. The pears in the garden were delicious too.
