Green Farm - The Orchard

The Orchard is a converted Norfolk stone farm building on a four-acre smallholding, one of several properties dotted across the site where sheep graze. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a kitchen for cooking, a separate dining area, and a bedroom with zip-and-link beds that can be pushed together or kept apart. The shower room is compact and practical. You get parking for one car on site, and there's a sitting-out area with garden furniture, though this is shared with other properties in the complex. One pet can stay free, and there are two lockable kennels available if needed; dogs must be kept on a lead.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, hob and microwave, so you can prepare proper meals. Heating is provided by an air source heat pump, and essentials like Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There's a barbecue for outdoor cooking too. The property doesn't allow smoking.

For a base in North Norfolk, this location works well. The Norfolk Coastline is just over six miles away—Weybourne's shingle beach, Cromer's pier and promenade, and Sheringham's wide sands are all within reach. The Norfolk Broads are under 20 miles off, and you're close to BeWilderwood, the heritage railway, Blickling Estate, Holkham, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and RSPB Cley. Norwich is 20 miles south if you want a day in the city.
