Overland Cottage

Holt is a handsome Georgian market town in the heart of North Norfolk, surrounded by open countryside and with the coast five miles away. Overland Cottage sits within easy reach of the town centre, Holt Country Park just half a mile off, and miles of beach and salt marshes that draw walkers and birdwatchers throughout the year. Shops and a pub are a short stroll away.

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: a double bed upstairs, and a single with a pull-out trundle in the second room. Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped to cook proper meals—electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer all present. There is a shower room with cubicle shower. Outside is an enclosed garden with patio, seating and a portable barbecue. One car can park on site. One well-behaved dog stays free of charge, though the property is non-smoking. Essentials including Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered.

The North Norfolk Coast, Holt Country Park and the surrounding farmland make this a natural base for cycling and walking holidays. Norwich lies 20 miles south; Blickling Hall, Holkham Hall and other Norfolk attractions are within reach for day trips.
