Cragdale Penthouse

The entire second floor of Cragdale Penthouse is yours. You arrive into an open-plan living and dining space with doors that fold back onto a substantial balcony, where sunsets over the market town and surrounding landscape are a regular feature. The kitchen runs along one side with a breakfast bar, induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher and American fridge freezer—everything needed to cook properly if you want to. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered.

There are two bedrooms. The first has a kingsize bed and an ensuite with both bath and walk-in shower; the second has two single beds and shares a family bathroom with the main living space. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. The penthouse sits within a converted police station and courthouse, and retains period character alongside modern comfort. Parking for two cars is on site, and there is a bike store if you arrive with cycles.

Settle itself is compact and walkable—independent cafés, shops and restaurants are minutes away on foot, and the train station is equally close for journeys on the Settle-Carlisle line. Walkers have immediate access to surrounding fell routes, and the Three Peaks, Malham Tarn and Pennine Bridleway are all within reach. No smoking inside the property.
