May Cottage is a detached stone property spread across three levels in Settle's Old Town. You arrive into a modern kitchen/dining room equipped for proper cooking, with a separate utility room and downstairs toilet. Two steps lead up to the entrance; the layout means the living spaces are split across different floors, so it's worth checking access suits your group.

The lower ground floor contains a spacious living room with a 55-inch smart TV and gas woodburner, opening onto an enclosed garden with patio and barbecue. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a bunk bed room—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. A utility room has a washing machine and washer-dryer. The essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. There's parking for one car on site, and a bike store in the garden.

The cottage sits 250 yards from Settle's market square, putting pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The Yorkshire Dales are accessible from here. No smoking is permitted. Children under six are not accommodated, except babies in arms.
