Orchard Cottage

Orchard Cottage has an unusual floor plan: bedrooms and a shower room downstairs, then a spiral staircase up to the kitchen, dining area and sitting room. The main bedroom has a king bed and en-suite; the second has twin beds. Downstairs there's also a separate toilet. This arrangement means the living spaces on the first floor feel open and spacious, with windows over the orchard and surrounding countryside.

The cottage sleeps 4 and comes with Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels included. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob for proper cooking. The sitting room has a wood burner (initial fuel provided) and Freesat TV. Outside, an enclosed garden with seating looks onto the orchard. The property sits among farmland with direct access to local footpaths and bridleways across the moors; Goathland village is within walking distance along the old railway line. One dog is welcome but must be kept on a lead as sheep graze nearby. The grounds include a stream and partially fenced pond beyond the garden fence, so young toddlers are not suitable. Parking for two cars is on site.
