Primrose Villa
North Yorkshire
Primrose Villa is a semi-detached house spread over three floors in Rosedale Abbey, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space with a multi-fuel burner, a kitchen with electric cooking, and doors out to a front patio. Upstairs, two bedrooms and a shower room occupy the first floor, while a second living room with a 50-inch smart TV sits on the top floor. The property sleeps four and one dog, which stays at no extra cost.
The rear garden is enclosed and lawned, with a BBQ and space to sit. Ponds are present in the garden. Off-road parking for two cars comes with the property, and there is bike storage in the garage. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and the initial fuel for the burner are included. The closest pub is within a mile. No smoking indoors.
Rosedale Abbey itself draws walkers and cyclists year-round, with trails and cycling routes beginning at the doorstep through the moorland and forest. Dalby Forest is a short drive away. The village has a long history as a former mining centre, now a quiet base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
