The Barn at Rosehill
North Yorkshire
Photo: Google Maps
Walk through the door of The Barn at Rosehill and you find yourself in a converted 1850s structure with proper character intact. The living room draws you in with its beamed ceiling and wood burner—the kind of space that invites you to settle in after time outdoors. Beyond that, a country-style kitchen gives you what you need to cook, and doors lead out to an enclosed back garden where you can sit with coffee or watch the evening light fade across the fields. Upstairs are two bedrooms (one double, one single) and a bathroom for three guests.
The property sits in rural North Yorkshire, less than a mile from Settle, a market town built on steep lanes with 17th- and 18th-century character. The Settle to Carlisle Railway runs through here, and the three peaks—Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside—are within easy reach for walking. A pub sits within a mile. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided; you'll need to bring your own log supply for the burner or confirm arrangements on booking. The whole place is yours alone, and no smoking is permitted.
