Dark Sky Apartments - North Star Apartment

North Star Apartment is a ground-floor property sleeping two, equipped with everything needed for self-catering. The open-plan living space centres on a wood-burning stove, there's a double bedroom with an ensuite shower, and a kitchen fitted with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A smart TV, wifi, bed linen, towels and heating are all provided, along with initial fuel for the stove. You get private parking for one car and your own entrance.

The apartment sits in Northumberland National Park, one of the UK's least densely populated areas and designated for dark skies. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling straight from the door. Kielder Water lies a few miles away, with activity centres, cafes and shops around its shores. The park stretches from the Scottish Borders to Hadrian's Wall and has viewing platforms scattered throughout; Kielder Observatory is nearby if you want to book a session. A pub is within walking distance. No smoking is permitted inside.
