Tarset Tor - Jupiter 1

Tarset Tor - Jupiter 1 sits on the edge of Northumberland National Park, where walking and cycling trails lead directly from the property into moorland and forest. The surrounding landscape is largely wild and quiet, with opportunities to spot red squirrels, deer and ospreys; Kielder Forest lies nearby. The nearest significant town is several miles off, and there's little around you except countryside.

The property is a detached bothy built from cedar, with an open-plan ground floor where the kitchen, dining and living areas flow together around a wood-burning stove. Upstairs are two galleried bedrooms, each with two sets of bunk beds (sleeping four per room) and their own shower room. A separate toilet on the ground floor provides extra convenience. The stairs to the mezzanine are steep. The whole place is yours alone, with parking for two cars on site and space for one dog at no extra charge.

Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi are all included. There's a firepit and barbecue in the front garden, a bike store for exploring the surrounding trails, and an electric vehicle charging point. A sauna is available by arrangement with the owner. Water bodies are nearby, so supervision is needed for young children. No smoking inside.
