Apartment 16 suits families, groups of friends, or couples wanting extra space. The property sleeps six across two bedrooms plus a sofa bed, with two bathrooms to match. The main bedroom has a zip-and-link kingsize (or twin singles on request) and ensuite shower; the second is a double; and the living area holds a double sofa bed. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included.

The living space is open-plan, with a fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge flowing together. A balcony opens from the living room. The main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge-freezer, so you can self-cater easily. There's a public car park 350 yards away. A pub sits within a mile.

Preston city centre is the base, with the marina, shops and restaurants nearby. The Lake District is roughly an hour away by car or train, the Lancashire coast under an hour, and Blackpool about thirty minutes. No smoking throughout.
