My stay was very disappointing due to several comfort and cleanliness issues. The bed cricked and wobbled every single time i moved, the mattress too old, the bedding didn't feel clean and three very smelly cushions on the bed. Don't think the housekeeper is really cleaning. The bathroom was far from the room and meeting the wall with the bedroom so can hear every single noise coming from it. I can imagine how much worse the noise would have been if there were more people staying at this place that night. 2 heaters, none on or able to make them work, leaving it freezing and hard to go to Basic amenities of three tiny 20ml bottles with only about 1/8 of shampoo left in them. To make matters worse lots of noise started around 7:30am coming from downstairs. Very thin walls. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations and will definitely will not return. No idea why they advertise it as delux

Old house that's been refurbished but is showing signs of wear and tear. But after a cancelled train any warm bed was good.

Horrible experience. The Caretaker, Dave, forgot to send us the code to the lockbox so we could get our key. We were stuck outside in the rain for hours. We were on a long bike trip and requested a ground floor room - never got a response so got stuck being assigned to a room up a narrow set of stairs. This is a case of an investor buying a building, installing some lock boxes and calling it a hotel. However, with no hospitality experience it's a disaster with nobody to help you if things go wrong.

Tricky to find, but once the landlord from the pub had sorted our keys out we were fine. Nice apartment, central to everything we needed. Breakfast brought to the apartment Sunday morning was a real treat. Great food.
