About Travelodge Preston Central

Fishergate Shopping Centre and Guild Hall are both within easy reach of Travelodge Preston Central, making it a practical base for a day of shopping or catching a show without needing to drive far. The surrounding area also has golf and fishing nearby, along with a choice of pubs, restaurants and other eateries for evenings out.

The hotel itself has 72 rooms spread across four floors, served by a lift, with en-suite bathrooms and accessible rooms available. Rooms tend to be roomy with comfortable beds, though standards of upkeep can vary from room to room. Guests can get drinks brought to their room, and there's a restaurant on site along with 24 hour reception for late arrivals. Pets are welcome, and an electric vehicle charge point is fitted for those who need it.

Parking is on site but comes at a charge, and vehicles need to be registered with reception on arrival; some have found the car park cramped and awkward to manoeuvre in, so it's worth allowing extra time. Overall, this is a straightforward, well-located option for the price, with staff generally on hand to help.

Easy to get to, just off the main road. Lidl is right opposite and good trading estate two minutes walk away. Rooms are clean and tidy. Good views. Everything works. Animal friendly but charged. Excellent for children. Four levels so plenty of rooms. Ideal if you want cheap accommodation for Blackpool, lytham st Anne's, Southport. Liverpool also Lancaster and Morecombe. Two level secure parking. Key card access. Very recommended

Rooms were lovley and clean our family room was massive ,very spacious ,ample towels . Great value for money . Lidl across the road and local takeaways all on same road . Our 8 seater though was too large for the carpark so if coming in a larger vehicle might need to find parking on the road . Free toothbrushs and toothpaste would have been a plus x

Not a great experience here. For positives, the family rooms are quite spacious and location is great. Firstly the car parking is ridiculous, very difficult to park in, very limited spaces. I managed but it was stressful. There was a musky smell throughout the hotel, and damp stains on the ceilings. Shower curtain stained, flush for toilet not working, extractor fan for bathroom not working. Key cards kept failing and I had to keep getting them fixed at reception, but there not always someone available at reception...

Stayed here recently. Check in was quick. Was on fourth floor so right at the top. Stairs were not in use so had to use lift. Room was nice and clean and towels were fresh. Bed comfy. Only problem I had was extractor fan in bathroom was making a non stop noise but I just kept the door shut. No problems other than that. Had a pleasant stay
