About Premier Inn Reading South Grazeley Green
The countryside on the southern edge of Reading, with golf, fishing and horse riding all within easy reach, is the setting for Premier Inn Reading South Grazeley Green. The hotel sits on Goring Lane in Berkshire, giving guests a base that feels away from the town centre while still being close enough for business or leisure visits into Reading itself.
The hotel has 44 rooms across two floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, large bed and a good shower, and rooms are kept clean and comfortable. Accessible rooms are available, and free WiFi runs throughout the building. There's a restaurant and bar on site serving breakfast and evening meals, along with drinks available in-room, 24-hour reception and luggage storage for those passing through.
Free on-site parking is provided to the front and side of the hotel, including an electric vehicle charge point, and staff are consistently described as friendly, with a generally quiet atmosphere throughout the property. A pub, restaurant and other eateries are all nearby for evenings out. It's worth noting that some guests have reported an unpleasant sewage smell during their stay, so this is something to bear in mind when booking.
What guests say
I’ve stayed at this Premier Inn several times and have always had a great experience here. Ive stayed in a few in the area and this is my favourite by far. Ricky the manager always does his utmost to make sure you have a fantastic stay. Nothing is too much trouble. He’s polite, professional and will always have a chat with you. I hope the senior management team know how lucky they are to have him: Never take great staff for granted! The rooms and public areas are very clean and tidy and the beds are very comfortable: might even get one from the website! It’s a great location as well and the pub does really good food too. Will stay here again for sure.

Lovely getaway hotel stay at the Premier Inn Grazeley Green - ideal, quiet, remote location with a lovely well-presented pub next door serving genuinely delicious food. Staff were friendly and forthcoming and the room was clean. Highly recommend the Premier Plus upgrade - these rooms are furthest from Reception and the Car Park so are beautifully quiet, have nice views and, importantly, have really good Air Conditioning.

Modern Premier Inn that shares its carpark with the Old Bell Inn. Good: large comfortable room, very clean. Huge bed, good shower, fan, kettle, two chairs, tv, adequate wifi, free parking, next to a reasonable pub, nearby trees provide shade in summer. Bad: room was VERY hot in July. Windows were locked almost shut by security cables, and there's no air cooling. Unpleasant sewage smell near the front door. Builders' rubbish piled around the back. You can't walk anywhere because there are no paths or pavements and it's on a 50mph road. We did not manage to get breakfast - I think we needed to book on the previous day.

It was fine, what you would expect from a Premier Inn but it's in quite a strange location - not really near anything and on a busy road. I suppose it's mostly for people working in Reading so the location isn't that important really but there's nowhere to go for a walk, for example, if you want to . We booked a room for three adults and there were only 2 cups, 1 chair and 2 bedside lamps, with a double bed and a single bed. We made it work but it wasn't ideal. It would have been very easy to have another bedside table and light for example. The staff were perfectly polite; we didn't stay for breakfast
