A truly iconic toy store and an experience in itself. Spread across several floors, there is something for every age, with live demonstrations and interactive sections that keep children fully engaged. The staff are active and create a fun environment throughout the store. My son absolutely loved it, and it is a must-visit when in London! When we visited in 2026 they were celebrating their 265th year!

Absolutely brilliant. Little ones loved it. Prices can be on the higher end, but only quality items are stocked. You are paying for premium, safe toys that you can trust. On busier periods, there are performers and staff on different floors keeping the children entertained. Not just a shop for children's toys, there are some adult RC toys too, for the child in you. If visiting London with little ones, this is a good place to visit whilst on the West End.

Hamleys is probably the biggest toy store I’ve visited in London, and it truly feels like a magical place for both kids and adults. The store has five floors, and each floor is filled with all kinds of toys you can imagine. One of the most memorable things about Hamleys is the staff. On almost every floor, you can see employees enthusiastically demonstrating toys or showing kids how they work. They don’t just sell the toys — they actively play with them and share the fun with everyone around. It really feels like they genuinely enjoy the toys and are excited to share that joy with others. The atmosphere in the store is incredibly lively and welcoming. The staff’s energy and sincerity make the experience feel special, and it’s hard not to smile when you see how excited the children are. There is an amazing variety of toys here, from classic toys to creative games and collectibles. Whether you’re a child or an adult, it’s a place where you can easily spend a long time exploring and having fun. Overall, Hamleys is more than just a toy store — it’s an experience. If you’re visiting London, it’s definitely worth stopping by, and both kids and adults will likely leave with big smiles.
