What guests say
If you’re looking to stay in Sheringham, please have a look at Picaroons B&B. We had the pleasure of staying at this (not so little) gem of a place for a couple of nights. Our hosts, Christine and Ian were both very welcoming, lovely people, and couldn’t have done more for us during our stay. Our room was light and airy and spotless - as was the fab en-suite. Breakfast was another feather in their caps - cereal, fruit juice and as much tea and coffee as we liked followed by a wonderful cooked full English with great quality produce that literally set us up for the day. To be able to park up at the property and not worry about your car was also a bonus as parking in most places can come at a premium. Cannot fault anything at all, it was all top notch and we will definitely book here again. Debbie&Dave

We could not wish for better hosts than Christine & Ian, NOTHING is to much trouble, everything is of the highest quality from accommodation to food. Breakfast food quality is exceptional, all ingredients are locally sourced and the flavours confirm that, no supermarket quality at Picaroons. Our third stop and my forth, we will be coming back. If you are cycling in Norfolk, Picaroons has a large driveway for cars and a secure garage to store bikes when not in use. We stayed 3 nights this time and one thing is clear, when we talk to other guests at breakfast almost 100% are repeat visitors and that confirms our view, without doubt in the top three B&B's we have ever visited and in our 70's there are a considerable number. Tips for other travellers; we love to visit National Trust properties and other houses each stay. Felbrigg Hall's Walled Garden is a favourite destination. Roman Camp is the best place to eat when taking into account Cost vs quality (Pub prices & Quality). Sheringham Park is wonderful to walk around and Ian is the expert on wonderful routes

Stayed with Ian and Christine for a long weekend. They are very friendly helpful couple. The rooms are large, airy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is first class too. We would undoubtedly stay here again. It is not in the town center, but that didn't bother us as we were travelling about to see other local attractions anyway. It is an easy fifteen minute walk into town anyway.
