Shippon Cottage

Shippon Cottage is a converted barn in Plealey, a quiet village where countryside walks begin at the gate. Shrewsbury lies six miles away with its medieval streets, shops and restaurants. Fishing and golf are half a mile off. Ironbridge, famous for its industrial heritage and museums, is a short drive, as is Ludlow with its food scene and castle. The landscape around here draws walkers and birdwatchers to Offa's Dyke, the Long Mynd, and hill forts scattered across the hills.

All three bedrooms and the bathroom are on the ground floor, reached by two steps from the entrance. The first bedroom has a kingsize bed, the second two singles, and the third a single. The living room opens through French doors to a patio. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided. The cottage sits in a courtyard where you have your own garden and terrace with a barbecue. There is private parking on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking is permitted indoors.
