The Olde Granary
Shropshire
The Olde Granary is a converted barn dating to 1600, retaining period features throughout its smartly furnished rooms. It sleeps nine across four bedrooms—one with a super king and ensuite, two with kingsize or twin singles, and a fourth with twins—plus three bathrooms between them. The ground floor holds a living room with television and DVD player, and a kitchen/dining space equipped for cooking and entertaining, with dishwasher and washing machine included. A patio with barbecue and enclosed garden provide outdoor space, and there is parking on site.
Essentials like bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided. The property sits in the quiet village of Plealey, where a shared games room (table tennis, pool, snooker, air hockey) is available to guests. Fishing lies just half a mile away, and Arscott golf course is equally close. Shrewsbury, with its medieval character and independent restaurants, is six miles off; Ironbridge, Ludlow and the Stiperstones are within easy reach for day trips. Walking dominates here—Offa's Dyke footpath is accessible, and circular routes wind through hill forts and castles. A pub is within a mile. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking throughout.
