My Grandma had a fall outside this hotel and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind and helped patch her up while we waited for a car to take her to the medical centre. They provided water, shade and medical attention and couldn’t have been more kind. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for staff kindness and attentiveness

It's easy to see why customers come back to this lovely hotel time and time again. The hotel is set in the wonderful Devon town of Sidmouth with stunning views in all directions. Every effort was made by hotel staff to make our stay that as special as possible. The room we stayed in was warm, very clean,well decorated and furnished to a high standard. The meals regardless of the time of day were of a very high standard and a wide variety of choice. Another big in the hotels favour was the ample parking which was both free and secure. I have just returned from this beautiful hotel. We have had a super stay and would highly recomend. What makes this hotel is the staff, nothing is too much trouble, they spend a few minutes to chat which makes you feel special. Food is fabulous, very generous good quality produce. Rooms are a good size and well equipped. In places the hotel is a little dated but it doesn’t detract from The elegant air. Most residents are older/retired. The hotel is situated opposite the beach and walking distance to town

We went today for a 3 course lunch it was our 54th wedding anniversary last week and we had to cancel as I had a chest infection rebooked for today. It's the 1st time we have been to this hotel although we go to Sidmouth every few weeks and was more than impressed with the attentiveness of the staff to the very friendly waitresses and was blown away by the food. The choice of courses was amazing good sized portions and beautifully presented. We felt very relaxed we picked up a brochure on our way out and are very tempted to book to stay although we only live in Seaton. Although it was an horrendous day weather wise it didn't dampen the atmosphere. Very very impressed. Look forward to returning very soon. Thanks everyone for making our Anniversary one to remember.
