Paignton's sandy shore lies within easy reach of this village, where a cluster of former farm buildings now serves as holiday accommodation. The Old Mill itself is the substantial centrepiece—a five-bedroom property that can comfortably house ten guests across its own complete space. Stone walls and original roof beams from its agricultural past remain, creating character throughout the ground-floor living and dining area, the well-appointed kitchen, and the five bedrooms upstairs. Four of those bedrooms have their own bathrooms; the fifth shares facilities with another.
Sleeping arrangements span a double bed, two kingsize beds, and two pairs of single beds, so the property adapts to families of different shapes or two families travelling together. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, there's a woodburner for cooler evenings, and you have access to laundry facilities on the wider site. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. A courtyard garden with seating and a barbecue lies between the converted buildings; the grounds also contain a pond and fountain, with parking for three cars on site and an electric charging point if needed. No smoking inside.
The village itself has a quiet character, though Paignton's attractions—beach, shops, restaurants, attractions—are a short drive away. Marldon Church and countryside walks are on the doorstep.
