About Leonardo Hotel Southampton
Leonardo Hotel Southampton sits on Charlotte Place overlooking East Park, roughly a 15-minute walk from Southampton Central station and under four miles from Southampton Airport. Its 270 rooms make it one of the larger hotels in the city centre, and its position close to the Titanic Engineers' Memorial in East Park puts guests within easy reach of the city's Titanic Trail.
The hotel is a straightforward, contemporary base rather than a destination in itself, with standard hotel dining and bar facilities and a layout geared towards business travellers, conference guests and families passing through the city. Its scale and central position keep rates competitive against the smaller boutique properties nearer the waterfront.
With East Park immediately in front of the hotel and the main shopping streets a short walk away, it suits visitors who want to explore the city centre on foot and are not fussed about a waterfront outlook.

What guests say
Great Stay – Highly Recommend We stayed in the Executive Double Room and will definitely choose Leonardo Hotel again next time we’re in Southampton. The staff were friendly, and the hotel bar was nice, we really appreciated the two complimentary drinks and two coffees. The on duty manager brought extra uht milk for the morning coffee as we ran out. Lovely coffee in the room. Breakfast was also excellent value for money. In fact, my kids actually preferred the hotel's breakfast over the one at the big John Lewis we visited the day before. The only slight amusement was the "fully stocked" mini bar, but everything else about our stay completely made up for it! All in, well worth the money, nice view too.

We had a really pleasant one night stay at the Leonardo Hotel Southampton. It’s conveniently located, just a short taxi ride or drive from the marina and the city centre, which made getting around easy. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean, with all the usual amenities you’d expect like tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, a hairdryer, and a kettle. The beds were really comfortable, and the room was impressively quiet. It’s clear that housekeeping standards are taken seriously here. The lobby area was also nicely presented and gave a good first impression on arrival and check in was fast and friendly. One thing to note is that there’s no on site parking, but we used Compton Walk Car Park, which is only a one minute walk away. It was convenient and reasonably priced we paid £13 for 20 hours. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others.

I paid £60 for a 1 night stay from a Saturday to Sunday and i’d say it was great value for money. Central location, friendly staff, easy check in and out. Bed was comfortable. Only small thing was the room i was put in had an adjoining room (which was locked) but the man in it woke me and my partner up talking on the phone quite early. Not a huge issue but just something to note.

I had originally booked a apartment online but when i arrived the place did not exist, I was left with no where to stay and I was with my 10 year old daughter in a place we didn't know, after speaking to a few people we ended up at Leonardo hotel. We were greeted by Lewis at check in, I was in tears and he made me feel so much at ease and looked after us. He was so accommodating and couldn't do enough for me and my daughter, whose birthday we were celebrating. Wish their were more people like him in this world. Would Def recommend this hotel as the service is spot on.
