I was lucky enough to spend my 30th birthday at Bell Tent Glamping site! The site is amazing, with brilliant facilities on site. The cabin we stayed in was so clean and tidy, and was such a great experience. My 5 year old loved it too! The staff are so friendly, and helpful whenever you need them. We are already looking forward to staying again later in the summer!

We attended a wedding reception being held at Bell Tent Glamping. Although we can't really comment on actually staying in the accommodation what we saw was very good. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we really couldn't fault them. The location is great too. The Royal Victoria Park has always been a favourite of ours. Although you're very close to Southampton and some quite busy areas once you're in the glamping area you could be in the middle of the country miles from anywhere.

What a little gem. We really enjoyed our night here. Everything just works, the tents are spacious and clean with all you need. Toilets and the communal kitchen area are spotlessly clean and the system of use what you need as long as you clean up after yourself works brilliantly. A really well run and friendly site, with access to all of the amenities the country park has to offer. We will definitely be coming back.

We booked a “deluxe” cabin and that couldn’t be further from what we got…in fact it was so bad we actually didn’t stay the night. As we were driving through the site, I must admit it looked beautiful and a lot of the wooden cabins looked lovely from the outside but ours looked like a scruffy plastic blue shed that had been dumped there randomly in comparison. The inside was just as bad, huge cobwebs on the window, dirty throws on the bed, stained sheets, damp smell and freezing cold even with the fire heater on. Whist we appreciate this is a camping experience we expected that “deluxe” meant cleaner and cosier than the tents but honestly there’s not much difference between any of it. I don’t understand why you can’t clean the basic areas? especially if you’re going to put a table in there for people to eat at, you’d think they would have cleaned it first. Wouldn’t recommend. UPDATE- this was not £50 we paid £75 and if you knew that we had the worst of the bunch than maybe you should have charged £50 but you didn’t... I said we appreciated it being a camping experience but there’s minor things that you could have done. If you don’t want to wash the sheets then people would probably preferrer them not on the bed at all. It would really amplify the camping experience you are so desperate to achieve.
