What visitors say
The View from The Shard offers one of the most spectacular views of London. From the observation levels, you can see many of the city’s most famous landmarks, including Tower Bridge, the River Thames, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the London Eye, and much more. The panoramic views are breathtaking, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of opportunities for beautiful photos. We enjoyed taking our time identifying landmarks and seeing London from an entirely different perspective. The staff were friendly, and the experience was well organized. Tickets can be expensive, but the incredible views make this a memorable experience, especially for a first visit to London. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance and visiting on a clear day if possible. 🇬🇧🏙️✨

Nice views but really crowded. Not sure if its is worth the price tag but it is included in the go city pass. The top floor is actually a pretty small area. I expected it to be more premium/classy. There is a bar up there and there is no time limit of how long you can be up there. You need to get off halfway and change lifts.

A fantastic viewing platform of London city! Two seperate levels of indoor and outdoor observatory tower you can see London in all directions! I was lucky to be there at the right time when the tower bridge lifted open for a ship! 🌁🌉 The way the architecture of the building look up close is so fascinating and it was awesome when you start seeing from afar until you walk up to it! Even the bathroom got an amazing view 🤩 🪟

I visited The Shard in London in September 2025, and it turned out to be an excellent experience—much better than I expected. From the moment I arrived, everything felt well organised and welcoming. I was lucky enough to join a presentation led by Chris, who was excellent and truly a London expert. He brought the whole experience to life with his humour and deep knowledge. If you get time for a visit and Chris is available, I would definitely recommend asking for his tour. One of the highlights for me was getting access up to the 72nd floor. The views were absolutely breathtaking, offering a full panoramic look across London’s skyline. What made it even more special was the storytelling—there were lots of fascinating details about the construction of The Shard and insights into the history and significance of key buildings across the city. A fun and unexpected bonus: the toilets genuinely have some of the best views in London! I also really enjoyed sitting down for coffee and cake while taking in the scenery—it’s not often you get such a combination of great refreshments and world-class views. Overall, a memorable visit and highly recommended. I’m sharing some pictures from my visit to capture just a small part of the experience. P.S. I was lucky the weather was very clear—I could even see the Eiffel Tower… (just joking! 😄)
