Had a wonderful birthday dinner at the Aqua Shard. My partner made a reservation weeks in advance and wish he had known to request a specific table for the view. I had a good view from our table but unfortunately his was blocked by the a large metal pillar! The food itself was high quality and well-prepared. The waiter brought out a small birthday surprise dessert which was a nice touch. There is a noise level to this restaurant, they had a live DJ who was playing tasteful dance music - we enjoyed this but just something to consider if you’re looking for a quiet dinner spot! It is expensive but it makes sense for the location, the views and quality of food. Overall, a good spot to come to as a treat and if you want to impress someone!

Had such a lovely experience at Aqua Shard. The view is obviously stunning, especially around sunset, but what surprised me most was that the food actually lived up to the location — which is rare for a skyline restaurant in London. The beetroot salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, the risotto was rich and comforting without being too heavy, and the salmon was cooked perfectly with crispy skin and a tender centre. The chocolate mousse dessert was also excellent: dense, rich and not overly sweet. Special thanks to Andrea and Sergio for the warm and attentive service throughout the evening. Friendly, professional and genuinely welcoming without feeling overly formal. They really made the experience feel special. Definitely one of the better fine dining experiences I’ve had in London.

Visited yesterday for afternoon tea with my mum who came from Italy and I wanted to thank her for everything she had done to help me with my boy in the past few weeks. The staff (thanks Silvia and colleagues) went above and beyond, they were so kind and even brought a plate with written "thank you mum for everything" and they said it was from me which made my mum emotional and was such a wonderful wonderful touch! We were treated like royals, everything was explained and they gave us time for pictures and to eat without being rushed which is wonderful despite the place was busy. The theme of the afternoon tea is Peter Pan and we loved every bit of it! It is so scenographic and while you are eating/sipping away you get breathtaking views! It is expensive, but -for once/twice in a lifetime- I would totally recommend it, especially if you have something special to celebrate!

Gorgeous restaurant, with excellent service. Food was delicious. It is expensive but I was treated with a gift experience for a birthday. Definitely recommend as a one off special occasion. Views were gorgeous. £60pp for 3 course brunch.
