Rooms are very dated and pricey for the quality. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast has to be booked in advance which is not clear when booking or from the hotel instructions. My room backed onto the care home and the curtains were very thin so room was illuminated all night, could use some blackout curtains.

Excellent hotel, and part of the long history of the region, from the days of the stage coach. Excellent and considerate service, both for the room and the Nirvana restaurant, which has a comprehensive vegetarian menu with gluten free options.

The old part of the building is fabulous. The modern annex is like a motel. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. Good wardrobe space. Good bathroom with toiletries. Tea/ coffee making facilities. The young man on reception was very helpful. It's a couple of miles from the railway station. Convenient for the Lamex stadium.

Visited roebuck inn few days back , its located in a decent location and the hotel is good also had a great service by mettilda , she looked after us , she is very polite, kind . Will visit again soon
