About Travelodge Stirling City Centre

A cooked breakfast and a bar for an evening pint set the tone at Travelodge Stirling City Centre, a straightforward 74-room hotel geared towards easy stays rather than fuss. The on-site restaurant covers meals without needing to head out, and drinks can be brought straight to your room if you'd rather stay in.

Rooms have been recently refurbished and come with en-suite bathrooms and comfortable beds, with accessible rooms also available. Some guests have noted the ventilation isn't always great, but the rooms are otherwise kept clean and comfortable. Free on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis once you've registered at reception, and there are three accessible bays near the entrance too. An electric vehicle charge point and 24-hour reception add to the practical side of things, and pets are welcome.

The location is central, close to Stirling Castle, the Thistles shopping centre and the train station, making it a good base for exploring the surrounding Highlands. There are also pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, plus a golf course for those wanting to fill a spare afternoon.

Really amazing location as it's close to a lot of beautiful places in Stirling as well as the town. The rooms are bog-standard, cleaning isn't great and the wear of the hotels bathrooms/rooms could be massively improved. (E.g, black mould in bathroom, hair was on the walls of the bathroom when we arrived, the lamp isn't working, etc). Also when ordering food beware what's online isn't what's available, some items advertised haven't been available for years and we had to settle for alternatives on 4 occasions during the same meal. The staff are all very friendly, professional, helpful and generally a delight. I'd honestly come back just for them. We did encounter rowdy late night guests above us, and whilst we appreciate it was dealt with eventually. It took 1.5 hours for them to be moved, (1am - 2:30am). A better resolution would have been for them to be completely removed from the premises for safety of others as they were aggressive and retaliatory. Lastly, I think given the quality of the rooms, it would be nice if breakfast was included in the stay. The quality of the breakfasts is very much in the cheaper side, a little unseasoned and truly nothing special. As was most of the food available to order from the kitchen to be honest. Still I'd recommend people use this hotel if they are out and about all day in Stirling as it's fairly affordable. Shout out to Molly for being amazing and making our stay as lovely as possible. Hope you, as well as the rest of the staff get a much deserved pay rise. ✨☺️

We had a great stay at Stirling Travelodge. Our room was clean and well-maintained, including the bathroom (shower only) which was all fine. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were travelling by car, so we appreciated the plentiful free parking - though I noticed too that it's only a couple of minutes' walk from the railway station. Close to town centre, which was just a few minutes walk away. Stirling Castle and the historic Chuch of the Holy Rude are also nearby (though be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk, or check out local buses/taxis, at least for the uphill leg!) We would happily sta

So close to a five star review. Stayed on 21/03/26. Staff were fantastic. Especially th night porter. Really nice room. My tiny issue is that the air vent fan was a bit squeaky so had to switch it off. Too much road noise to open a window. Room got a bit too warm by morning. Still happy though

On 12th May, I drove to the Stirling Travelodge after a lengthy (and interrupted) drive from Yorkshire. Missed the entrance on my first pass but recovered and drove in. Spotted the notices about registering for free parking. In the bright, well-lit lobby I could see the tablet device to register for parking and completed its formalities. As I finished, a young lady came through from the bar/cafe area. I said that I had a reservation for the night. She asked if I had completed the tablet registration for (trouble-) free parking. I confirmed that I had and we dealt with my room booking. So easy. Nice room, convenient Tesco to refuel the car and dinner at "Spoons" before returning for a couple of drinks before returning to my room. OK enough breakfast in the morning. Congratulations to the team at Stirling and whichever staff member greeted me.
