Cob Cottage

Rhossili Beach is a twenty-minute walk from Cob Cottage, and the wider Gower Peninsula—a stretch of cliffs, sand and moorland designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—unfolds in all directions. The cottage itself is built from the distinctive purple stone of the area and sits at ground level, with patio doors opening onto a private enclosed garden where you can eat outside or let dogs run free while keeping an eye from the kitchen or living room.

The layout is straightforward: two bedrooms (one double, one with twin beds), a bathroom with shower over the bath, and a single living space that combines kitchen and dining area with a sitting room. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with Wi-Fi and underfloor heating. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering—oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine—and there is private parking on site. One dog stays free.

The cottage suits families with young children or couples who want to be within reach of the beach without the bustle of seaside towns. Hiking trails cross the headland above; quieter coves lie along the coast. At night the dark skies make for exceptional stargazing.
