About Douneside House
Douneside House works well for anyone after a quiet, unhurried stay rather than a city break, with the Cairngorms National Park close enough for day trips out to the hills. It's an easy match for couples, walkers, cyclists and those planning a countryside wedding, thanks to grounds and a garden that give the place room to breathe.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks and room service, and there's a bridal suite for wedding guests. Guests can eat in the restaurant or snack bar, with breakfast, packed lunches and kids' meals all catered for, and a bar for evenings in. Beyond the rooms, there's a gym, spa and sauna, a games room, and free WiFi throughout, plus practical extras like 24 hour reception, laundry service, concierge and meeting rooms for anyone mixing business with the trip.
Outside, the area suits golf, fishing, cycling and walking, with a pub, restaurant and other entertainment nearby for those who want to head out. Free on-site parking is provided, making it straightforward for guests arriving by car to explore Aberdeenshire and the surrounding countryside at their own pace.
