Chilsham Barn is a detached barn conversion near Hailsham, surrounded by the owner's working land where sheep, geese, ducks and chickens roam. The property has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four. You have the whole place to yourself, including use of the shared orchard on the 37½-acre grounds. A single pet stays free.
The ground floor opens into a living and dining space with French doors to a terrace and garden furniture. There is a wood burner (fuel supplied initially), a 65-inch TV, and a kitchen fitted with an induction hob, dishwasher, and washer-dryer. Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in) and an ensuite with bath and shower; the other has two single beds (3ft) and an ensuite with the same. Underfloor heating and wifi are included in the rental, along with bed linen, towels, and electricity. There is private parking for two cars on site.
No smoking is permitted. The grounds contain an unfenced pond about 50 yards from the property. Eastwood Observatory is a nearby landmark. The property accepts families and couples only.

Really nicely laid out Barn Home. Great views and great cleanliness. Very open but cozy. Loved our long weekend and would stay for a week. Only downside is we didn’t really need/want to leave the house.😬 really did feel like a second home.

Comfortable and spotless clean accomodation. Beatifully kept garden to stroll in. Good location for coastal attractions such as Pevesey Bay and Birling Gap Good choice of local pubs.. Owner on site are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful holiday home on a quiet farm. Set within gorgeous surroundings and allowing access to the owners gardens there are plenty of beautiful places to explore just outside the door and access to a wide variety of places locally. The holiday cottage itself is a sympathetically converted barn with plenty of original features and is clean and well maintained.
