Moorhens is a single-storey cottage on Chilsham Farm Nurseries in the Wealden countryside, sleeping two guests and one dog (kept on a lead). Everything you need for cooking and cleaning is here: the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer, while the bedroom holds a double bed and there's an ensuite with a walk-in shower. The open-plan living space includes a dining area and smart TV. Wi-Fi, heating and cooling, bed linen and towels are all included.

The cottage sits within 37½ acres of grounds shared with other properties on-site, with an orchard and views across the surrounding countryside. There's a patio with garden furniture for outdoor sitting, and parking for two cars. Herstmonceux village, with shops, restaurants and a pub, is a short drive away. Note that the grounds have steps and an unfenced pond 50 yards from the property, and smoking is not permitted.
